The quarter-pointe is designed to gradually prepare the foot for work on pointe. Equipped with a lightweight box and a leather sole, it reproduces the sensation of a traditional pointe shoe, without a shank, in order to reinforce the foot without allowing you to stand on the platform. Used in schools and conservatories, it is integrated into the educational program before moving on to full pointe shoes: demi-pointe at the barre, quarter-pointe in the middle. It develops strength, accustoms the foot to the structure of a pointe shoe and allows you to practice tying ribbons.
